ENTRY #7: MEETING OTHER NEWBIES

Our tour of The Forum came to its end, and we were excited and impressed by what we had seen. Not only were we surrounded by all sorts of thrilling new ideas and interesting people, but the club itself seemed to be responsibly run. Each room had one or two stations bearing an assortment of condoms, towels and bottled water, and during the tour we were also shown the location of two showers available for the guests. Bella and I both liked this setup because it gave us the impression that safety, good hygiene and cleanliness were encouraged. “Are you guys ready to come back to the main room?” Jessi asked. “I can leave you here and you can browse on your own from here on out, or I can bring you back to Ron and Lori.”

“What about Jason and Joy?” Bella asked, and her initiative once again pleasantly surprised me. “Honey, don’t you think we should chat with them for a bit since this is their first time, too?”

“I think that’s an excellent idea, babe,” I replied.

“Oh my God,” Jessi gasped as embarrassment lit up her face. “I totally forgot that I’d promised to bring you guys back to them!”

Apologizing for the oversight, Jessi walked us back into the movie room where Joy and Jason were still hanging out on their own while enjoying their wine. And porn.

“I’ve brought them back like I said I would,” Jessi announced as soon as we caught their attention. “Okay guys, remember what we talked about. If you have any questions Mark and I are always around.”

“Thank you!” both Bella and I said at once.

Jessi disappeared in the mysterious darkness of the hallway, leaving just the four of us. Jason and Joy were a good-looking couple in their late 30s, maybe early 40s. They both seemed to be in shape and nicely dressed, though the poor lighting left a lot to imagination and interpretation. There was no rush, but our overall impression of them was that they were people who took pride in their physical appearance and presentation.

“Come and sit with us,” Jason offered, gesturing towards the empty space next to them. “Would you guys like some wine?”

Bella didn’t hesitate. “I think I may be up for it.”

They had a few extra plastic cups and a bottle of red wine, and graciously poured us both some. Since Bella wasn’t that picky about her wine preferences when it came to calming down her nerves, she didn’t even bother to ask about the kind. She took a couple of sips and we sat down on the opposite side of the L-shaped couch.

“So, what do you think?” Jason began the conversation once we had all gotten comfortable.

“This is kind of crazy for us,” I replied. “I mean, we are excited to see what’s out there, but everything that we’re learning is also kind of overwhelming. What about you? What brought you guys here in the first place?”

“Well…” Joy seemed like she wanted to take this one. “We’ve been married for about ten years now. We’d really never thought about anything outside of the norm like this. Then, about a couple of months ago, I was out with some of my girlfriends. Jason wasn’t there. And I had this one really sexy guy come up to me and ask me for my number. I was so flattered that I gave it to him even though I didn’t really know why I did that. When I got home, being the honest wife that I am, I told Jason about it.”

She paused and smiled at her husband, her fingers rubbing affectionately over the back of his hand.

“How did you react to that?” Bella jumped in, directing her question at Jason.

“I guess that is where it all started,” he replied with a smile. “Somehow, which was confusing to me at the time, I wasn’t mad or jealous; I was surprisingly excited. For her.  And for myself. It was a weird feeling. I wondered why I wasn’t jealous like I thought a guy in my place should be, right?”

“So, I told him about it expecting that he’d be mad,” Joy continued. “But instead he was asking me more about the details and how it happened. He was almost proud that I got a hot guy interested in me.

“We kind of laughed it off and forgot about it for the rest of the day. But then I got a text message from that guy like the next day. We started politely texting back and forth with a bit of small talk. After a while it started to turn a little sexual and flirty. So I stopped, because I really wasn’t interested in going there. I’m married, you know?

“I came home to Jason and showed him the texts, and again, instead of getting upset he was encouraging me to reply to the guy,” she glanced at him again with a cute smile.

“I just told her to continue flirting,” Jason chuckled, leaning in to kiss her cheek. “It was turning me on in a weird way. So, she did. For like the next week.”

“I did,” Joy echoed, taking over again. “But you can only flirt so much over text. He started asking me to meet. I told him I was married. And he said that my husband could watch if he wanted to. I was like ‘What?’ He told me that he has been with a few women while their husbands apparently watched and even took part. I told all of this to Jason and that’s how this whole idea was born.”

“So, did you end up meeting him?” Bella asked. She seemed to be fascinated by their tale, and frankly so was I. I’d expected them to have a story similar to ours, but it wasn’t at all.

“I haven’t yet. All of this happened only a few weeks ago,” Joy continued. “We started talking about this during our sex. It kind of just happened one night. Jason started asking me what I would do if I was with the other guy, and what kind of a thrill I would get. If I would feel guilty or naughty.  And both of us were really turned on by it.”

“One time,” Jason added, “we have decided to take things one step further. We had him on the phone with her while we were having sex and she would do a play-by-play for him. That was really hot.”

“Wow! So, Jason, were you really not jealous thinking about your wife with another man?” Bella asked.

“I wasn’t!” he replied. “I know it sounds weird, but the more I thought about it, the more turned on I got. I had no explanation why. I think it might have been because by thinking of her being with another man it made me think of her more as a naughty girl who is doing something she’s not supposed to be doing. That was a huge turn on. I didn’t feel like that guy was there to steal her away from me. It felt like he just wanted to enjoy her sexually, so I didn’t feel like our relationship was threatened.”

“I felt like it was at first,” Joy admitted. “I was afraid of developing feelings towards that guy. Thus I wasn’t scared that something or someone new could come between us. I am fully satisfied with my husband. This is just a new… hobby if you will.”

“So how did you two end up here?” Bella asked.

“That guy ended up leaving for a two week business trip a couple of days ago,” Jason explained, sipping at his wine. “We didn’t want to wait for him to get back to learn more about this new kink of ours, so we Googled around to see what’s out there and eventually found this place. After talking to Mark and Jessi we thought this would be a great place for us to continue exploring.”

“So you guys are looking for a single guy and not a couple?” I asked.

“We’re open to possibilities,” Jason replied “but I think trying out a guy for Joy would be our preference for now.”

“We haven’t even discussed Jason being with anyone else,” Joy added, and he nodded in agreement.

My curiosity kept coming up with new questions to ask. I wanted to learn as much as I could.  “How do you know you are ready for this, Jason? I mean, I’ve asked this question myself, but how do you know how you’re going to react when you see your wife with another guy?”

“I think we have talked about this enough to know that this is something that we both want,” Jason replied while Joy nodded in agreement. “But we are not going to push the issue. If we feel like we click with a guy, we’ll try to take it slow. But if not—we’ll just watch others and that will probably be just enough fun for one night.”

That kind of made sense. As a matter of fact, I believed that was a great approach that Bella and I hadn’t really contemplated. I don’t think we’d thought far enough ahead in terms of whether or not we’d actually try things here if an appealing opportunity presented itself.

We noticed that as we were talking more and more people were walking in and out, and the place started to get a little louder. It began to feel more alive. Another couple parked themselves on the couch near the door, glancing over at all four of us a few times with a curious smile, but they mainly kept to watching what was playing on the TV screens.

“I think we should walk around and see what people are up to,” Joy suggested with a smile.

“You guys go ahead,” I replied. “We’re gonna finish this wine and catch up to you in a bit.”

“Okay,” Jason replied, standing and offering his wife a hand up. “You two behave.”

They left. Bella and I looked at each other as we processed what we had just heard.

“Wow, babe,” she said. “Yet another ‘normal’ couple that wasn’t creepy or weird. I have to say, I’m really pleasantly surprised.”

“I know, right?” I replied. “What did you think of them?”

“You mean like sexually?” Bella asked carefully after a moment.

“I didn’t really mean it that way,” I replied. “But now that you’ve mentioned it, that too.”

“Oh?” Bella smiled as though she’d been caught with more dirty thoughts in her head than I’d anticipated. “I thought they were really nice. They seemed to have figured out what they are into and have a solid plan of what their next step should be.”

She paused. I waited without making a sound to see if she answered the second part of my question.

“As far as… you know.” The question seemed to leave Bella a little shy, her cheeks flushing. “I thought they were good looking. I think he’s handsome and has a good build. And she is sexy too, right?”

I didn’t expect her to throw the question back at me, though I was glad she did. “Yeah, I agree,” I replied. “She’s got a really nice body.”

I was curious to see what Bella’s reaction would be to me admitting sexual attraction to another woman. It was a relief to know that she wasn’t bothered by it as she nodded in agreement.

“What did you think when they said they were looking for just a guy, and not a couple?” I asked.

“I never really thought about it that way,” she replied. “I mean, I’ve always thought of threesomes as two girls and a guy. Though I can see how she would want the extra attention from someone other than her hubby.”

“This is a lot to think about,” Bella said with a sigh.

“I agree,” I said. “Let’s see what appeals to us tonight. I’m sure we’ll talk to more people and have all kinds of new information and ideas to digest.”

“Okay,” she replied with a mysterious smile. I love that smile. That usually meant that her dirty mind was working hard somewhere deep behind those eyes.
